Outsourcing in Clinical Trials (OCT) 2026

Three people, two men and one woman, are smiling and gathered around a high table at the TRIGA-S auf dem LFAction! Symposium & Workshop. Behind them is a display banner about scientific solutions and biomarkers.

This year’s Outsourcing in Clinical Trials: Medical Devices Europe 2026 in Munich was a great one – high-quality presentations and plenty of good conversations at our stand. A highlight on day one was the new IVD stream, packed with valuable insights into the challenges and solutions around clinical and analytical performance evaluation under the IVDR.

TRIGA-S at the Trillium Academie

A purple flag with the text trillium akademie stands in front of a modern building with large windows and a glass entrance, welcoming guests to the TRIGA-S auf dem LFAction! Symposium & Workshop as two people enter.

At the Trillium GmbH IVD Symposium, we connected with colleagues from across the diagnostics industry and engaged in valuable discussions. AI was once again a common thread throughout the sessions – helpful for reading, comparing, and validating results, but no substitute for diagnostic expertise: responsibility and liability remain with the company, and the ethical use of AI begins with all of us.

TRIGA-S at the MIKROGEN Symposium

Two people in business attire smile for a selfie at the TRIGA-S auf dem LFAction! Symposium & Workshop conference table, set with drinks and papers. A presentation screen and other attendees are visible in the background.

The symposium was a great opportunity to exchange ideas with diagnostics experts and pick up valuable insights into the latest developments in this field. A highlight for us was the behind-the-scenes tour of the laboratory, where we were able to take a closer look at Mikrogen’s impressive work and innovative approaches.

IVDR Reform: An Opportunity for Rare Disease Diagnostics

A person wearing blue gloves handles sample vials in a laboratory, placing or removing a labeled test tube from a gray rack containing several similar tubes on a workbench during the TRIGA-S auf dem LFAction! Symposium & Workshop.

For people with rare diseases, an accurate diagnosis is often the critical first step towards targeted treatment. Yet so-called orphan diagnostics are coming under pressure and may increasingly disappear from the market – with serious consequences for patient care. The current IVDR reform offers a real opportunity to change that. Read on to find out what this means for IVD manufacturers.

TRIGA-S at analytica 2026

Two people stand smiling in front of a large sign that reads Greetings from Munich #analytica2026, featuring science-themed graphics and large pink letters spelling analytica, capturing the spirit of TRIGA-S auf dem LFAction! Symposium & Workshop.

Looking back on an intensive few days at analytica 2026 in Munich – the world’s leading trade fair for laboratory technology, analytics, and biotechnology. Our focus was on clinical diagnostics, AI-supported analytics, and the latest trends in mass spectrometry. The breadth of the programme and the quality of the professional exchange showed once again just how vibrant this community is.

TRIGA-S Hosts Chamber of Commerce (IHK) Instructors’ Day

This year, we had the pleasure of hosting the 45th meeting of the Working Group on Vocational Training in Industry and Schools (AKBUS). AKBUS regularly brings together trainers from regional companies in related professional fields and meets at a different location each time. We were delighted to give colleagues from other training companies an insight into our work and what we do.

Updates from the BVMA General Assembly

We’re looking back on two intensive days at the BVMA General Assembly. As the German Federal Association of Contract Research Organisations, BVMA brings together Germany’s leading CROs – and the General Assembly was the right setting to discuss the latest developments and shape the future of the association together.

TRIGA-S joined the LFAction! Symposium & Workshop in Weimar – an engaging evening and two full days focused on the future of lateral flow diagnostics: expert presentations on IVDR, validation, and new technologies, hands-on lab sessions at VELLAP, and in-depth discussions with leading experts from development, production, and regulatory affairs.

TRIGA-S at the 22nd Clinical Trials Strategic Summit

A woman stands at a podium speaking to an audience in a conference room. Behind her, a screen displays “2024 Clinical Trials Strategic Summit,” as attendees, including several triga-s news representatives, listen attentively and face forward.

We joined the 22nd Clinical Trials Strategic Summit in Munich as a sponsor and exhibitor – and what a two days it was. New contacts from across the clinical research community, familiar faces, and plenty of in-depth conversations: we’re taking away valuable insights and look forward to picking up where we left off.
